Post time for the Chasin’ for Children Races is tentatively 11:15AM. Most, but not all, pony races will run before post time of live Thoroughbred racing. Timing to be determined by Pimlico by the Wednesday prior to the race.
NOTE: ALL new ponies and new pony/rider combinations who have not run in a USPR organized race must be prescreened by US Pony Racing. Anyone wishing to enter a lead line race, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org beforehand to see if your entry qualifies.
All riders must wear a current ASTM/SEI or NSA approved helmet, a protective vest, yoke, overgirth, safety stirrups and signed release. All entries must present a Health Certificate and proof of a negative Coggins test, or they will not be permitted to enter the grounds.
*** NOTICE: Safety stirrups are required for this event, as well as a health certificate noting negative current coggins test.
