Pony racing comes to the Rappahannock Hunt Pt to Pt for a third year! These races will follow general rules for Virginia, no pre-qualifications except ponies must be at least 5 years of age (no stallions) and all must measure in their division. Ponies and/or riders deemed dangerous to the field, crowd, officials, or themselves at any time will be excused from the running of the race.
All entries must have safety stirrups, neck straps, over girths and riders must have a signed release by a parent, as well as wear an approved helmet and safety vest.
Small Pony Flat- 1/4 mile
Medium Pony Flat- 3/8 mile
Large Pony Flat- 3/8 mile
Post time for the first pony race will be NOON and they will run concurrently and be completed before 12:45 pm… unless otherwise noted on overnight.

NOTE: Give yourself at least 15 minutes to travel through the property to parking at the race course. ALso all entries MUST have a negative coggins current coggies with them.
