The 3rd running of the Maryland 5STAR at Fair Hill Pony Races. Entries are now open and close on September 22nd. All ponies entering MUST BE well-behaved Shetland ponies and at least 5 years of age. All ponies must be on the property with a negative current coggins by 8:00 AM the day of the race. Parking is extremely limited, so ponies may have to have to “trailer share” to come in to the event. There will be two Shetland flat races at the lunch break.

SHETLAND PONY FLAT RACE CONDITIONS
Two divisions. Must be registered Shetland pony with papers, or approved by USPR otherwise. All rider/pony combos must be approved by USPR which includes galloping on entered pony in a group. All entries must have an approved helmet, safety stirrups, overgirth, neck strap and safety vest. There is VERY little space to pull up. All ponies must be able to pull up quickly.
