This year we celebrate the 7th running of the Washington International Horse Show Shetland Pony Steeplechase Championship presented by Charles Owen. Ponies and riders are chosen to compete at the Washington International Horse Show Shetland Pony Steeplechase Exhibition Races based on their participation in the series, their suitability of the pony/rider combo within a group of similar ability, and on the participation in pony racing in general. These ponies and rider combos are part of the US Pony Racing Shetland Exhibition Team! Click here to see what it takes to become a part of this team.
