POST TIME: Immediately following the first live race, which will be run at 6:00pm and run in between the first five live TB races.
The Penn National Pony Derby will host leadline walk/trot, Shetland, small, medium, and large pony flat races. Races may be combined or split at the discretion of USPR or Penn National officials. Pony races will be run after each of the first four live races.
- ALL pony/rider combos must be pre-screened for suitability and safety by USPR. All pony/rider combos who have started in a USPR operated race and performed satisfactorily are approved.
- ALL ponies must present a current health certificate and valid coggins test before being permitted to run.
- ALL entries must sign a waiver of liability.
- Entries must be pre-paid before entry will be accepted.
- ALL entries, except lead line, must use an approved helmet, neckstrap/yoke, overgirth, safety vest, and safety stirrups.
- Ponies may be used in the leadline and one open race.

To enter a PA Pony Derby race please fill out the form below. Please note, all payments are due by closing date. Payments ($30 per division) may be made via PayPal (usponyracing@gmail.com) or via credit card. Cash and checks are also accepted, but must be received by closing date in order for entry to be processed.
